Registration Policy
Registration of all new students must be done at the school your child will be attending. At Centennial Elementary you may bring in the required documentation anytime during regular office hours to register your students.

You may also call in with any questions regarding registration during the above hours and talk with our registrar. You may also send an email to the registrar by clicking here.
Choose either enrolling a student (for new students to the district) or transferring a student (for in district transfers).

General Registration Information
* In most cases, your student will attend the school within your neighborhood’s school boundary.
* The State Board of Education has adopted a common entry age for kindergarten and first grade students. A birth certificate is required to verify your child’s birth date.
* A child must be 5 years old by August 31 to enter kindergarten.
* A child must be 6 years old by August 31 to enter first grade.
* Washington state law requires students to be immunized, before enrolling in school, as follows: Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis (DTP): 4 doses, with last dose after age 4. Polio: 3 doses, last dose after age 4. Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR): first dose after age 1; second dose before sixth grade Hib (Haemophilus Influenza): one dose to enroll in preschool. Hepatitis B: 3 doses.
* If your student is transferring from another school you will want to bring the latest report card or transcript.
* Proof of residency may be required.
* Every Bethel school provides voter registration forms.
