Transferring a Student Within the District
The following is a copy of the information found on the Bethel School District’s Web Page under Transfer Request.
The district is accepting student transfer applications for the 2007-08 school year for grades 7-12 through March 23. The cutoff date for elementary grades K-6 is April 30.
Requests received after the deadlines may not be considered until the district receives actual enrollment counts in September. A student transfer form may be obtained from the district office, your neighborhood school, or downloaded below. Parents will receive an answer by April 27 (secondary) or May 31 (elementary).
Approval or denial of transfer requests is based on established criteria outlined in board policy 3131 and 3141 for nonresidents. Parents will provide transportation for students who voluntarily attend school outside their attendance area.
For more information, please call 683-6012 for secondary, or 683-6014 for elementary.
