Family Read-In
Centennial Elementary held its annual Family Read-in on March 6th and it was our most successful event ever. Over 425 individuals attended the event that included hands-on activities, reading events, reader's theater. etc. The 6th grade camp fund made $70 on raffle sales, which will continue through this month, the PTA made $209 from the Pizza and soda sales, and our music program's bake sale brought in $240. All in all everyone had a great time and we are looking forward to next year's event to be just as successful.

Students acted on stage, constructed sets and props, ran the backstage, lights and curtains. Centennial teachers Tim Bayliss, Mary Seatz, and Chip Upchurch started this exciting after school program three years ago. Students have a great time memorizing lines, preparing sets and participating in the final productions.
