CENTENNIAL PARENT & COMMUNITY
PLAN
Each child's growth is dependent on the collective
efforts of everyone to create a positive and supportive environment
for learning.
Our goal is to improve communication of student performance and
the interventions available for struggling students.
- Site Council meetings with parent/community members.
- Student, parent, and teacher conferences will occur as often
as needed.
- Title 1 program will continue hosting parent nights to
educate parents on how to work with their children.
- Continue to participate in the Centennial Elementary Parent,
Teacher Association (PTA) and the activities sponsored for
children and families.
- Participation in the Bethel Community Coalition for the
development of resources for youth through the Pierce County
Alliance for Youth (America’s Promise).
- Participation in the Coalition for Children and Family
Support (CCFS) to provide guidance and support for families
experiencing difficulty with their children’s behavior.
This program is created to provide communication between Parent
Partners, mental health services, and Centennial Elementary.
- Students and families will participate in an annual Food
Drive.
(Any food that is collected will be donated to the Spanaway

at any time will be eligible to go to the Spanaway Elementary
